Labor Day

Today on the spur of the moment we decided to take a trip to Jordan Lake, just 30 minutes south of where we live. We wanted to take the kids on a short hike. It was a hot day, but pleasant on the shaded trail. Joel did well in the Moby wrap and Isaac and Benjamin had a good time hiking through the woods.

On Saturday we had beautiful weather here in Durham and decided to eat breakfast outside on our porch. It was nice listening to the birds chirping as we enjoyed our food: biscuits, bacon and eggs. I finally figured out how to make a pina colada smoothie the way Walter likes it. Isaac and Benjamin liked it, too!
